Warrington Starlights are a dance school based in Warrington specialising in Pom and Lyrical dance styles open to ages 4+. With over 25 years of coaching and teaching experience, we aim to provide each individual with the opportunity to become a well rounded dancer and give them the skills to grow and excel as a dancer.
Our teams, ranging from Tiny all the way up to International Open, regularly compete in competitions both regionally and nationwide. Our primary goal is for the children is for them to enjoy themselves and to build them up with an abundance of confidence whilst also providing the highest quality of dance tuition in a fun, safe and exciting atmosphere.
Pom Dance
Pom dance is a style of dance that is high energy with strong dynamic. Dancers hold 'poms' in their hand whist dancing which characterises the dance style. The style emphasises synchronisation and precision of jumps, arm movements, skills and formations of dancers.
Lyrical Dance
Lyrical dance is a dance style that an includes an abundance of different dance styles including aspects of ballet, jazz, acrobatics, and modern dance. The style incorporates ballet technique with the freedom and musicality of jazz and contemporary. This is an emotive and expressive dance style.
